Legendary Veteran Actor Sridevi passess away at 54

One of the finest actresses of the tinsel town, Sridevi passed away after a cardiac arrest in Dubai where she went with her family to attend a family wedding. Her untimely death has shocked the fans and the other members of the fraternity alike. Bollywood Celebrities

●      The news was confirmed by her brother in law, Sanjay Kapoor while he was flying back to Dubai after this news broke in.

●      Reportedly, Sridevi was with her husband, Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi when she died.  Her elder daughter, Jhanvi, was not with them at the wedding as she was busy with the shooting of her upcoming debut movie.  



●      This news has left the celebrities utterly shattered who are unable to come to terms with this saddening news. Heartfelt condolences message filled Twitter and other social media handles from the celebrities and fans alike.

●      Amongst them was the cryptic message of Amitabh Bachchan much before this news came in, he tweeted, “Na jaane kyun, eik ajeeb si gharaahat ho rahi hai.”  


●      Sridevi was a remarkable actress, to say the least, making her debut in 1978 with the movie Solva Sawan, she had many incredibly beautiful movies in her name. Apart from Hindi movies, she has also worked in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. 



●      While movies like Mr India, Mawali, Tohfa, and Chandini claimed box office record for her, her performances in a movie like Sadma, Lamhe, Chalbaaz, Gumrah garnered her the critical acclaim.


●      Apart from the Filmfares and other showbiz awards, she was honored with the Padma Shri award in 2013.


●      She was too excited for her daughter’s debut movie, “Dhadhak” which was slated to release in July 2018. It is so unfortunate and sad that she will not be there to see them gain all the success!
