Delhi Metro’s Magenta line to be inaugurated on December 25

After Gurgoon and Faridabad , Delhi Metro rail corporation is going to foray
into Haryanana for the third time. Delhi –Haryana people is eagerly awaited for the Magenta
Line of the Delhi Metro – from Botanical Garden to Kalkaji Mandir is set to be start and inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on 25th
December 2017.
The Trail has started on a new 11 km corridor that will
put Bahadugarh on the metro map. The trail metro runs between Tikri Kalan and the
city park station of the Mundka . The corridor will be the longest Straight
line of the metro that DMRC has ever constructed there is no twist or turns
between Mundka and Bahadurgarh. The Mundka-Bahadurgarh metro corridor is an
extension of the existing metro line from Inderlok Mundka of the Delhi Metro.
The metro corridor will run along NH-10 (Rohtak Road) on an elevated flyover.
There are the total seven stations on the Magenta line
of which four are in Delhi, which is Mundka Industrial Area, Ghevra, Tikri
Kalan and Tikri Border other three are in Haryana Modern Industrial Estate, Bus
Stand and City Park. This is the first line by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation
(DMRC) to be operated using the new signalling system which called
Communication-Based Train Control.
